| As I cry inside my mind is telling me that I've lost my sanity | A |

| But Inside I only see black and blue | B |
| My sanity is waiving goodbye as I go | C |
| Leaving my body to the world I don't know | C |

| Oh Lord enlighten me | A |
| I need a hand to pull me up | D |
| I don't wanna die and I can't just give it all up | D |
| I'm carrying lives on my shoulders | E |
| They will die if I fall over | F |

| Strenghthen my knees so I can stand | G |
| All the weights I have on my shoulder and hands | H |
| Clear my mind from all anxiety | A |
| So that I can think cautiously to defeat myself my number one enemy | A |

Poet's note: I wrote this while depression is attacking me. I feel hopeless, frustrated and depressed to something I don't know. Writing poems is one of my outlets to fight it.
