The Shawl Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCC DEFF GHII AAJKJ LM

The ShawlA
-
On a balcony's corner of a dim nightB
The stars weren't even too brightB
An innocent soul watching the skyC
In the echo of a good byeC
-
In the memories of a beautiful soulD
Sleepless eyes were open like those of a subtle owlE
Remembering the winter cuddlesF
For a new start they were the hurdlesF
-
Cooler the night gotG
The shawl he broughtH
Still had the scents of his loveI
Her beauty was of a doveI
-
Going through the memories he knew he will fallA
Still picking up his phone he made a callA
The call gone unansweredJ
Wrapping the shawl he sat againK
And for the rest of the night the winds murmuredJ
