Two Neighbors Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIIAAJ

Faces of two eternities keep looking at meA
One is Omar Khayam and the red stuffB
wherein men forget yesterday and to morrowC
and remember only the voices and songsD
the stories newspapers and fights of todayE
One is Louis Cornaro and a slim trickF
of slow short meals across slow short yearsG
letting Death open the door only in slow short inchesH
I have a neighbor who swears by OmarI
I have a neighbor who swears by CornaroI
Both are happyA
Faces of two eternities keep looking at meA
Let them lookJ
