The Noon Hour Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJ KLA

She sits in the dust at the wallsA
And makes cigarsB
Bending at the benchC
With fingers wage anxiousD
Changing her sweat for the day s payE
-
Now the noon hour has comeF
And she leans with her bare armsG
On the window sill over the riverH
Leans and feels at her throatI
Cool moving things out of the free open waysJ
-
At her throat and eyes and nostrilsK
The touch and the blowing coolL
Of great free ways beyond the wallsA
