March A LIAR goes in fine clothesA
A liar goes in ragsB
A liar is a liar clothes or no clothesA
A liar is a liar and lives on the lies he tells and dies in a life of liesC
And the stonecutters earn a living with lies on the tombs of liarsD
-
Aliar looks 'em in the eyeE
And lies to a womanF
Lies to a man a pal a child a foolG
And he is an old liar we know him many years backH
-
A liar lies to nationsI
A liar lies to the peopleJ
A liar takes the blood of the peopleJ
And drinks this blood with a laugh and a lieE
A laugh in his neckK
A lie in his mouthL
And this liar is an old one we know him many yearsM
He is straight as a dog's hind legN
He is straight as a corkscrewO
He is white as a black cat's foot at midnightP
-
The tongue of a man is tied on thisQ
On the liar who lies to nationsI
The liar who lies to the peopleJ
The tongue of a man is tied on thisQ
And ends To hell with 'em allR
To hell with 'em allR
-
It's a song hard as a riveter's hammerS
Hard as the sleep of a crummy hoboT
Hard as the sleep of a lousy doughboyU
Twisted as a shell shock idiot's gibberS
-
The liars met where the doors were lockedV
They said to each other Now for warS
The liars fixed it and told 'em GoT
-
Across their tables they fixed it upW
Behind their doors away from the mobX
And the guns did a job that nicked off millionsI
The guns blew seven million off the mapY
The guns sent seven million westZ
Seven million shoving up the daisiesA2
Across their tables they fixed it upW
The liars who lie to nationsI
-
And nowB2
Out of the butcher's jobX
And the boneyard junk the maggots have cleanedC2
Where the jaws of skulls tell the jokes of war ghostsD2
Out of this they are calling now Let's go back where we wereS
Let us run the world again us usE2
-
Where the doors are locked the liars say Wait and we'll cash in againF2
-
So I hear The People talkG2
I hear them tell each otherS
Let the strong men be readyH2
Let the strong men watchI2
Let your wrists be cool and your head clearS
Let the liars get their finishJ2
The liars and their waiting game waiting a day againF2
To open the doors and tell us War get out to your war againF2
-
So I hear The People tell each otherS
Look at to day and to morrowT
Fix this clock that nicks off millionsI
When The Liars say it's timeK2
Take things in your own handsL2
To hell with 'em allR
The liars who lie to nationsI
The liars who lie to The PeopleJ
