Pennsylvania Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB ACDEF GHIGJ KL

I have been in PennsylvaniaA
In the Monongahela and Hocking ValleysB
-
In the blue SusquehannaA
On a Saturday morningC
I saw a mounted constabulary go byD
I saw boys playing marblesE
Spring and the hills laughedF
-
And in placesG
Along the Appalachian chainH
I saw steel arms handling coal and ironI
And I saw the white cauliflower facesG
Of miner's wives waiting for the men to come home from the day's workJ
-
I made color studies in crimson and violetK
Over the dust and domes of culm at sunsetL
