Jerry Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMN

Six years I worked in a knitting mill at a machineA
And then I married Jerry the iceman for a changeB
He weighed pounds and could hold meC
Who weighed pounds outward easily with one handD
He came home drunk and lay on me with the breath of staleE
beerF
Blowing from him and jumbled talk that didn't mean anythingG
I stood it two years and one hot night when I refused himH
And he struck his bare fist against my nose so it bledI
I waited till he slept took a revolver from a bureau drawerJ
Placed the end of it to his head and pulled the triggerK
From the stone walls where I am incarcerated for the naturalL
termM
Of life I proclaim I would do it againN
