Three walls around the town of Tela when I cameB
They expected everything of those wallsC
Nobody in the town came out to kiss my feetD
-
I knocked the walls down killed three thousand soldiersE
Took away cattle and sheep took all the loot in sightF
And burned special captivesG
-
Some of the soldiers I cut off hands and feetD
Others I cut off ears and fingersE
Some I put out the eyesH
I made a pyramid of headsI
I strung heads on trees circling the townJ
-
When I got through with itK
There wasn t much left of the town of TelaL
