| bees to buzz and kiss my stigma | C |
| but am in a desert | D |

| It's windy and i sway my waist | E |
| my life is at the precipice of death | F |
| the dust from the dunes suffocates me | G |
| i pray but it feels like a palaver | H |

| The colours have changed from yellow to brown | I |
| am stamped and trampled on | J |
| my admirers are disgusted and gutted | K |
| because i am no longer beautiful | L |

| I want to flourish again | M |
| bear the brightest colours | N |
| bright as the stars on a rainy night | O |
| but am too gloomy to bloom | P |
