Submersible Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEFGEHIHIHHJKJLMH

Why art thou cast down O my soul PsalmA
-
Down from twilight into dark at noonB
through darker down until the blackC
could not be more devoid of starD
or sunlight o my soul near freezingE
in sub photic stillness pastF
the fragile strands of glowing jellyG
radiant with tentacles to stingE
and bioluminescent lures of anglersH
down where water beading on the cold hatchI
overhead has sheathed in dewdropsH
the titanium past dragonfishI
with nightlights set into their headsH
and flanks past unlit cruisersH
blackcod owl fish eelpout skateJ
where spider crabs arms long as mineK
on creamy prongs drift floodlitJ
over the pillow lava hereL
our craft has taken us where no oneM
could have come till now but corpsesH
