| Feet entangled as I attempt to go | B |
| The summer grass is overgrown and green | A |
| I must afford the time it takes to mow | B |

| The neighbour s lawn is always trimmed and neat | C |
| Her efforts are so easily achieved | D |
| It takes me all my strength to do this feat | C |
| Her results must be seen to be believed | D |

| I mow the grass and see a hidden sign | E |
| A maker s name embossed into the stone | F |
| I gasp aloud to see the name is mine | E |
| Had I really done this all alone | F |

| I stoop to clean the swatch and claim the space | G |
| And erect a seat to reset my pace | G |
