-
Kem in ef you willC
Thar quit Take a cheerD
Not that you can't fillC
Them theer cushings this yearD
For that cheer was my old man's Joe Simpson and they don't make such men about 'yerD
-
He was tall was my JackE
And as strong as a treeD
Thar's his gun on the rackE
Jest you heft it and seeD
And you come a courtin' his widder Lord where can that critter Sal beD
-
You'd fill my Jack's placeF
And a man of your sizeG
With no baird to his faceF
Nor a snap to his eyesG
And nary Sho thar I was foolin' I was Joe for sartain don't riseG
-
Sit down Law why shoH
I'm as weak as a galI

Or I'll faint sure I shallI
Sit down anywheer where you like Joe in that cheer if you choose Lord where's SalI
