God's World Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH FJKJ LMNM OPQR

Thin as hair are the shadows of sunsetA
When they follow drawn out every treeB
On the road through the forest the post girlC
Hands a parcel and letters to meB
-
By the trail of the cats and the foxesD
By the foxes' and by the cats' trailE
I return with a bundle of lettersF
To the house where my joy will prevailE
-
Countries continents isthmuses frontiersG
Lakes and mountains discussions and newsH
Children grown ups old folk adolescentsI
Appreciations reports and reviewsH
-
respected and masculine lettersF
All of you none excepted have broughtJ
A display of intelligent logicK
Underneath a dry statement of thoughtJ
-
Precious treasured epistles of womenL
Why I also fell down from a cloudM
And eternally now and for everN
To be yours I have solemnly vowedM
-
Well and you stamp collectors if evenO
Only one fleeting moment you hadP
Among us what a marvellous presentQ
You would find in my sorrowful steadR
