The Outlaw. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCB DEDEFE GBGBCB

Oh let my lord laugh in his hallsA
When he the tale shall tellB
But woe to Jarlwell and its wallsA
When I shall laugh as wellB
And he that laughs the last ladsC
Laughs well laughs wellB
-
He's lord of many a burg and farmD
And mickle thralls and goldE
And I am but my own right armD
My dwelling place the woldE
But when we twain meet face to faceF
He will hot laugh so boldE
-
The shame he chuckles as he showsG
This time he need not tellB
I'll give his body to the crowsG
And his black soul to HellB
For he that laughs the last ladsC
Laughs well laughs wellB
