Exit Anima Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CCCCCDC EEEEEFE GHHGHIH JJJJJKL MMMMMAM NNNNNON PPPPPQP

Hospes comesque corporisA
Quae nunc abitis in locaB
-
Cease Wind to blowC
And drive the peopled snowC
And move the haunted arras to and froC
And moan of things I fear to knowC
Yet would rend from thee Wind before I goC
On the blind pilgrimageD
Cease Wind to blowC
-
Thy brother tooE
I leave no print of shoeE
In all these vasty rooms I rummage throughE
No word at threshold and no clueE
Of whence I come and whither I pursueE
The search of treasures lostF
When time was newE
-
Thou janitorG
Of the dim curtained doorH
Stir thy old bones along the dusty floorH
Of this unlighted corridorG
Open I have been this dark way beforeH
Thy hollow face shall peerI
In mine no moreH
-
Sky the dear skyJ
Ah ghostly house good byJ
I leave thee as the gauzy dragon flyJ
Leaves the green pool to tryJ
His vast ambition on the vaster skyJ
Such valor against deathK
Is deityL
-
What thou too hereM
Thou haunting whispererM
Spirit of beauty immanent and sheerM
Art thou that crooked servitorM
Done with disguise from whose malignant leerM
Out of the ghostly houseA
I fled in fearM
-
O Beauty howN
I do repent me nowN
Of all the doubt I ever could allowN
To shake me like the aspen boughN
Nor once imagine that unsullied browN
Could wear the evil maskO
And still be thouN
-
Bone of thy boneP
Breath of thy breath aloneP
I dare resume the silence of a stoneP
Or explore still the vast unknownP
Like a bright sea bird through the morning blownP
With all his heart one joyQ
From zone to zoneP
