In A Silence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DBEF GHIJ KKLKKE MNOP KKKC QKR

Heart to heartA
And the stillness of night and the moonlight like hushed breathingB
Silently stealthily moving across thy hairC
-
O womanly faceD
Tender and strong and lucent with infinite feelingB
Shrinking with startled joy like wind struck waterE
And yet so frank so unashamed of loveF
-
Ay for there it is love that's the deepestG
Love's not love in the darkH
Light loves wither i' the sun but Love endurethI
Clothing himself with the light as with a robeJ
-
I would bare my soul to thy sightK
Leave not a secret deep unsearchedK
Unrevealing its shame or its gloryL
Love without Truth shall die as a soul without GodK
A lying love is the love of a dayK
But the brave and true shall love foreverE
-
Build Love a houseM
Let the walls be thickN
Shut him in from the sight of menO
But hide not Love from himselfP
-
Ah the summer nightK
The wind in the trees and the moonlightK
And my kisses on thy throatK
And thy breathing in my hairC
-
Silent lips to lipsQ
But our souls have held speech thought answering echoing thoughtK
Though the only words were kissesR
