Hunting-song: From King Arthur Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABC DAEF GAAA HABI

Oh who would stay indoor indoorA
When the horn is on the hill Bugle TarantaraA
With the crisp air stinging and the huntsmen singingB
And a ten tined buck to killC
-
Before the sun goes down goes downD
We shall slay the buck of ten Bugle TarantaraA
And the priest shall say benison and we shall ha'e venisonE
When we come home againF
-
Let him that loves his ease his easeG
Keep close and house him fair Bugle TarantaraA
He'll still be a stranger to the merry thrill of dangerA
And the joy of the open airA
-
But he that loves the hills the hillsH
Let him come out to day Bugle TarantaraA
For the horses are neighing and the hounds are bayingB
And the hunt's up and awayI
