Floating and all the stillness waits	C
And listens at the ivory gates	C
Full of a dim uncertain presage	D
Of some strange undelivered message	E
There is no sound save from the bush	F
The alto of the shy wood thrush	G
And ever and anon the dip	H
Of a lazy oar	I

The rhythmic drowsiness keeps time	J
To hazy subtleties of rhyme	J
That seem to slip	H
Through the lulled soul to seek the sleepy shore	I
The idle clouds go floating by	A
Above us sky beneath us sky	A
The sun shines on us as we lie	A

It is a dream my love see how	L
The ripples quiver at the prow	L
And all the long reflections shake	M
Unsteadily beneath the lake	M
The mists about the uplands show	N
Dim violet towers that come and go	N
Phantasmagoric palaces	O
Rise trembling there	P
As though one breath of waking weather	Q
Would crash their airy walls together	Q
With sudden stress	R
While silent detonations shook the air	P
Vast fabrics toppling to the ground	S
And vanishing without a sound	S
Ah love these are not what we deem	K
It is a dream	K
