So sisters two were named yes namedB
The white one was so quietC
The red one laughed and flamedB
But different was their doing yesD
When came the time of wooing yesD
The white one turned so red so redE

For him the red one favoredG
Him father would not bless not blessD
But him the white one favoredG
He got at once his 'Yes '-
The red one now was paling yesD
With sorrow psalms and wailing yesD
The white one turned so red so redE

And had to give his 'Yes ' oh yesD
With songs and music cheerfulH
The wedding rang oh yesD
