The Riddle Of The Dinosaur Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDAAEEFGGHHIIJ JKKLLMM

Behold the mighty dinosaurA
Famous in prehistoric loreA
Not only for his weight and lengthB
But for his intellectual strengthB
You will observe by these remainsC
The creature had two sets of brainsC
The one in his head the usual placeD
The other at his spinal baseD
Thus he could reason a prioriA
As well as a posterioriA
No problem bothered him a bitE
He made both head and tail of itE
So wise he wasF
So wise and solemnG
Each thought filled just a spinal columnG
If one brain found the pressure strongH
It passed a few ideas alongH
It something slipped the forward mindI
'Twas rescued by the one behindI
And if in error he was caughtJ
He had a saving afterthoughtJ
As he thought twice before he spokeK
He had no judgment to revokeK
For he could think without congestionL
Upon both sides of every questionL
O gaze upon this noble beastM
Defunct ten million years at leastM
