I Befriended A Donkey Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCECFCGCHAIJKA

If you befriend a donkeyA
Expect nothing but shower of kicksB
I've been calm to herC
But has become unco operative in lifeD
When I cry to herC
My cry turns into chaosE
I advise herC
She turns deaf not to hearF
I write love notes to herC
She reads them for funG
I use wise philosophies to please herC
But she's the same everydayH
I send her some moneyA
She uses it to benefit other friendsI
I've given out all for her comfortJ
But all taken for grantedK
Did I not befriend a donkeyA
