The Traitors Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKL MNOP

Them with overhanging browsA
Are the traitors to ourselvesB
Who hang with dauntless breastC
And sail a ship of gossipD
-
Tingles of pride in them fullE
Who cling under the yoke of disgustF
And perambulate with red painted lipsG
Fashioned above rejectionH
-
Encircle and hang around youI
Like weevils in the rice fieldJ
Letting warm emotions run your heartK
You will only but fall for itL
-
Then they ve got all their needsM
And once your haunting dreams perishedN
And you wangle all along themO
To puff and sail alongP
