Unfolding The Flocks Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGGGG

Shepherds rise and shake off sleepA
See the blushing morn doth peepA
Through your windows while the sunB
To the mountain tops has runB
Gilding all the vales belowC
With his rising flames which growC
Brighter with his climbing stillD
Up ye lazy swains and fillD
Bag and bottle for the fieldE
Clasp your cloaks fast lest they yieldE
To the bitter north east windF
Call the maidens up and findF
Who lies longest that she mayG
Be chidden for untimed delayG
Feed your faithful dogs and prayG
Heaven to keep you from decayG
So unfold and then awayG
