These men with their distended stomach
Living in the higher reach
They are beasts
Such in the worst it could be
We know them; and they said
What we deserve is pain
That the merry of this life belongs to them
Every time we are raids
There is no end to our exilium
Every time there is distress in our streets
We have been brutalize, battered and beaten
All we ever know is pain.

Poet's note: The Government is unresponsive. The Government is adamant to the demands of the Nigerian Youths, who poured out themselves into the streets advocating for their rights as citizens. The Government is cruel and emotionless. This poem is to challenge the government to see what the Youths are doing from a stand point of love for their country! #EndSARS
