Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FGFH

Lord let me not thy courts departA
Nor quit thy mercy seatB
Before I feel thee in my heartA
And there the Saviour meetB
-
Water the seed in weakness sownC
And ever more improveD
Make me a garden of thine ownC
May ev'ry flow'r be loveE
-
O send my soul in peace awayF
For both my Lord hath boughtG
And let my heart exhulting sayF
I've found the pearl I soughtH
