And a language very strange had theyB
'Twas merely a chattering ricochetB

Their cheeks were flushed with a sable tingeC
Their eyelids hung on a silver hingeC

The Gurgling Imps of Mummery MumA
Called each other My charming chumA
And floated in tears of joy to seeD
Their relatives hung in a cranberry treeD

The Gurgling Imps of Mummery MumA
Stole the whole of a half of a crumbA
And a wind arose and blew the ImpsD
Way off to the Land of the Lazy LimpsD
