Easy Knowledge Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHHII

How nice 'twould be if knowledge grewA
On bushes as the berries doA
Then we could plant our spelling seedB
And gather all the words we needB
The sums from off our slates we'd wipeC
And wait for figures to be ripeC
And go into the fields and pickD
Whole bushels of arithmeticD
Or if we wished to learn ChineseE
We'd just go out and shake the treesE
And grammar then in all the townsF
Would grow with proper verbs and nounsF
And in the gardens there would beG
Great bunches of geographyG
And all the passers by would stopH
And marvel at the knowledge cropH
And I my pen would cease to pushI
And pluck my verses from a bushI
