In The Hospital Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB BCBC DBDB

Because on the branch that is tapping my paneA
A sun wakened leaf bud uncurledB
Is bursting its rusty brown sheathing in twainA
I know there is Spring in the worldB
-
Because through the sky patch whose azure and whiteB
My window frames all the day longC
A yellow bird dips for an instant of flightB
I know there is SongC
-
Because even here in this Mansion of WoeD
Where creep the dull hours leaden shodB
Compassion and Tenderness aid me I knowD
There is GodB
