Voyage Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEFGHIJ

for Ernest HemingwayA
-
HEAP we these coppered hullsB
With headed poppiesC
And garlic longed for by the eager deadD
Keep we with sun caught sailsE
The westward oceanF
Raise we that island on the sea at lastG
Steep to the gull less shoreH
Across the sea rushI
Trade we our cargoes with the dead for sleepJ
