Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFGFHIJIKLKLMMMM

Amyntas led me to a GroveA
Where all the Trees did shade usB
The Sun it self though it had StroveA
It could not have betray'd usB
The place secur'd from humane EyesC
No other fear allowsD
But when the Winds that gently riseC
Doe Kiss the yielding BoughsD
-
Down there we satt upon the MossE
And did begin to playF
A Thousand Amorous Tricks to passG
The heat of all the dayF
A many Kisses he did giveH
And I return'd the sameI
Which made me willing to receiveJ
That which I dare not nameI
His Charming Eyes no Aid requir'dK
To tell their softning TaleL
On her that was already fir'dK
'Twas Easy to prevaileL
He did but Kiss and Clasp me roundM
Whilst those his thoughts ExprestM
And lay'd me gently on the GroundM
Ah who can guess the restM
