As hee cam owr the leeE
He sied his castle all in blazeA

Then sair O sair his mind misgaveE
And all his hart was waeF
'Put on put on my wighty menC
So fast as ze can gaeO

'O traitors for this cruel deidB
Ze sall weep teirs o' bluid '-

And after the Gordon he is ganeC
Sa fast as he might drieM
And soon i' the Gordon's foul hartis bluidB
He's wroken his dear ladieB
