Deliverance From Another Sore Fit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGHG IEIE EAEJ KLKL MNMN

In my distress I sought the LordA
When naught on earth could comfort giveB
And when my soul these things abhorredA
Then Lord Thou said'st unto me LiveC
-
Thou knowest the sorrows that I feltD
My plaints and groans were heard of TheeE
And how in sweat I seemed to meltD
Thou help'st and Thou regardest meE
-
My wasted flesh Thou didst restoreF
My feeble loins didst gird with strengthG
Yea when I was most low and poorH
I said I shall praise Thee at lengthG
-
What shall I render to my GodI
For all His bounty showed to meE
Even for His mercies in His rodI
Where pity most of all I seeE
-
My heart I wholly give to TheeE
O make it fruitful faithful LordA
My life shall dedicated beE
To praise in thought in deed in wordJ
-
Thou know'st no life I did requireK
Longer than still Thy name to praiseL
Nor ought on earth worthy desireK
In drawing out these wretched daysL
-
Thy name and praise to celebrateM
O Lord for aye is my requestN
O grant I do it in this stateM
And then with Thee which is the bestN
