when I feel more clearly than everB
that I am in the companyC
of my own personD
This comforts and reassures meC
this heartens meC
just as my tridimensional bodyC
is heartened by my own authentic shadowE

that I am in the companyC
of my own personD

I stopF
at a street corner to turn leftG
and I wonder what would happenD
if my own person walked to the rightH

Until now that has not happenedI
but it does not settle the questionD
