Sonnet Xxvii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABCDEFGHGH

See wither'd WINTER bending low his headA
His ragged locks stiff with the hoary dewB
His eyes like frozen lakes of livid hueB
His train a sable cloud with murky redA
Streak'd Ah behold his nitrous breathings shedA
Petrific death Lean wailful Birds pursueB
On as he sweeps o'er the dun lonely moorC
Amid the battling blast of all the WindsD
That while their sleet the climbing Sailor blindsE
Lash the white surges to the sounding shoreF
So com'st thou WINTER finally to doomG
The sinking year and with thy ice dropt spraysH
Cypress and yew engarland her pale tombG
Her vanish'd hopes and aye departed daysH
