Sonnet Xc. Subject Continued Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAACACCA

My hour is not yet come these burning eyesA
Have not yet look'd their last else 'mid the roarB
Of this wild STORM what gloomy joy to pourB
My freed exhaling Soul sublime to riseA
Rend the conflicting clouds inflame the skiesA
And lash the torrents Bending to exploreB
Our evening seat my straining eye once moreB
Roves the wide watry Waste but nought descriesA
Save the pale Flood o'erwhelming as it straysA
Yet Oh lest my remorseless Fate decreeC
That all I love with life's extinguish'd raysA
Sink from my soul to soothe this agonyC
To balm that life whose loss may forfeit theeC
COME DEAR REMEMBRANCE OF DEPARTED DAYSA
