Sonnet Vii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDCDEE

By Derwent's rapid stream as oft I stray'dA
With Infancy's light step and glances wildB
And saw vast rocks on steepy mountains pil'dB
Frown o'er th' umbrageous glen or pleas'd survey'dA
The cloudy moonshine in the shadowy gladeA
Romantic Nature to th' enthusiast ChildB
Grew dearer far than when serene she smil'dB
In uncontrasted loveliness array'dA
But O in every Scene with sacred swayC
Her graces fire me from the bloom that spreadsD
Resplendent in the lucid morn of MayC
To the green light the little Glow worm shedsD
On mossy banks when midnight glooms prevailE
And softest Silence broods o'er all the daleE
