Sonnet Lxvi Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBDEFEFEF

Nobly to scorn thy gilded veil to wearA
Soft Simulation wisely to abstainB
From fostering Envy's asps to dash the baneB
Far from our hearts which Hate with frown severeC
Extends for those who wrong us to revereC
With soul or grateful or resign'd the trainB
Of mercies and of trials is to gainB
A quiet Conscience best of blessings hereD
Calm Conscience is a land encircled bayE
On whose smooth surface Tempests never blowF
Which shall the reflex of our life displayE
Unstain'd by crime tho' gloom'd with transient woeF
While the bright hopes of Heaven's eternal dayE
Upon the fair and silent waters glowF
