Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGB HIJ KL MNOP QRSTPB UVWXYV PWZY A2

I have always hated dying thingsA
So I wrote youB
Bouquets of flowers insteadC
Sorry I gave you none of themD
-
Last weekE
Mama asked me what a bonfire wasF
And your name slipped out of my lipsG
I think I still love youB
-
Remember me as the foolH
That wrote you too many love poemsI
Then kept them all to herselfJ
-
I don't know how to talk of love withoutK
Mentioning your nameL
-
I remember the time I imaginedM
Every word that came out of your mouth as a kissN
You talked a lotO
It always made me sun shine brighterP
-
-
I walked in with a shattered soulQ
I learnt of love that restoresR
Walked out with a broken heartS
I learnt that sometimes forever lats long enoughT
For you to love yourself betterP
You loved me until I loved myself thank youB
-
You taught meU
You don't lose love by giving itV
And now my love is like oxygenW
It does not come at a priceX
I'm grateful for thoseY
Who appreciate itV
-
I wish I would have loved you betterP
But you were the sunW
And even though I love suntanZ
I'm afraid of sunburnsY
-
I hope you're loved wherever you areA2
