Although the sun shines with a bright promise every morningA
B
The world is in absolute darknessC
B
And I wonder how you can ever still think thatD
B
We are going to get past this catastropheE
B
Most people are constantly reminding themselves that surelyE
-
A mask and prayer and a little bit of faith will get us through thisF
-
Though we cannot ignore thatD
-
Distinct feeling of trepidation locked down deep within us allG
-
The absolute reality is that there is aH
-
Very tiny little thread of hopeI
-
And everyone still hangs onto thisF
-
Bizarre false hopeI
-
In a time when it just seems like impossibleJ
-
To believe that things will return to normalJ
-
Humans persistently search for strength even when it barely existsK
-
And the truth is thatD
-
We have passed the phase of courage and hopingA
-
You need to sanitize your thoughts if you feel thatD
-
We are all going to be able to wash our hands off this really soonL
-
Because I seriously believe thatD
-
You have mistakely worn your mask over your eyes and not your noseM
-
If you cannot see the pictureN
-
Which the universe is trying to paintO
-
It is about time you at least start reading the messageP
-
Which is written in the darkness of the sunsetQ
-
Instead of distancing yourself from the reality and believing thatD
-
We are all going to survive this and be okay soonL
-
