Mars Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF G HEI

As I look through the digital pictureA
I gaze at the deep dark brown eyes as if they were the spotlightB
-
His voice a melody I will always mistake with perfectC
His face structure strong cut and narrowD
-
Eyebrows thick as a brush that grow in line perfectlyE
Though everything about him isn't perfect he thrives in every way plausibleF
-
His arms have veins wanting to pull from his it's bones as if reaching for something it wantsG
-
His eyes talk yet his mouth is speechlessH
His body language calling my name but quietly whispering the knowledge of meE
At the peak of the night I call to Mars begging for me to see him again in personI

Poet's note: I wrote this poem in the dark of the morning about someone that I had an interest in. I wanted to express the way the person is but still revealing little because of how strange the person was. This poem means a lot to me, I think it's one of my best poems simply because it all came from deep down. I think it's pure and fresh of new love or new interests.
