someone smoke cigarettes Even the echo | B |
of that sentence smells like a stolen observation | C |
that the smoker is deeply darkly thinking | A |
In books they brood on screen they are the rebel | D |
or daring victim being slowly unknowingly undone | C |
I have always wanted to occupy my mouth | E |
in similar fashion and gather great thoughts | F |
from the shadowed glow erasing my face | G |
I suckle sweet cigar substitutes instead | H |
savor the proximity of nature we're taught | I |
Toast the lung in all its sanctity and encourage | J |
its diverse role within ourselves As always | K |
let the credits scroll down your face | G |
before stubbing out the coal | L |
