Proem Iii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABCDCEECEE

Not all the brilliant beauties I have seenA
Mid the gay splendors of some Southern hallB
In jewelled grandeur or in plainest mienA
Did so my fancy and my heart enthralB
As doth this noble woman Nature's queenA
Such hearty greeting from her lips did fallB
And I ennobled was through her esteemC
At once made sharer of her confidenceD
As by enchantment of some rapturous dreamC
With subtler vision gifted finer senseE
She loosed my tongue's refraining diffidenceE
And softer accents lent our varying themeC
So much my Lady others doth surpassE
I read them all through her transparent glassE
