You are beautiful the way you are.
You were created by God.
Do not feel abashed for yourself.
You are strong and don't let a tear stain your face.
You are kind and respectable.
You are creative and thoughtful.
It's ok to stay natural, it's not something you should be ashamed of.
You don't have to be mixed to look beautiful.
You don't have to explain your hair to the world.
Don't be afraid to shine with your naturality.
Your hair is beautiful and your skin is divine.
You are phenomenal and gorgeous.
Be proud of who you are, your hair is your crown.
Shine as you are, black woman!

Poet's note: I wrote this poem for all black women out there who want to stay natural but scared of people to judge them. I want black women to boast about their natural beauty and be confident of not being mixed to look beautiful.
