Sonnet--to A Daisy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA ABBA CCD EED

Slight as thou art thou art enough to hideA
Like all created things secrets from meB
And stand a barrier to eternityB
And I how can I praise thee well and wideA
-
From where I dwell upon the hither sideA
Thou little veil for so great mysteryB
When shall I penetrate all things and theeB
And then look back For this I must abideA
-
Till thou shalt grow and fold and be unfurledC
Literally between me and the worldC
Then I shall drink from in beneath a springD
-
And from a poet's side shall read his bookE
O daisy mine what will it be to lookE
From God's side even of such a simple thingD
