Sonnet - To One Poem In A Silent Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA ACCA DEC DEC

Who looked for thee thou little song of mineA
This winter of a silent poet's heartB
Is suddenly sweet with thee but what thou artB
Mid winter flower I would I could divineA
-
Art thou a last one orphan of thy lineA
Did the dead summer's last warmth foster theeC
Or is Spring folded up unguessed in meC
And stirring out of sight and thou the signA
-
Where shall I look backwards or to the morrowD
For others of thy fragrance secret childE
Who knows if last things or if first things claim theeC
-
Whether thou be the last smile of my sorrowD
Or else a joy too sweet a joy too wildE
How my December violet shall I name theeC
