Sonnet - My Heart Shall Be Thy Garden Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA ABBA CBD CBD

My heart shall be thy garden Come my ownA
Into thy garden thine be happy hoursB
Among my fairest thoughts my tallest flowersB
From root to crowning petal thine aloneA
-
Thine is the place from where the seeds are sownA
Up to the sky enclosed with all its showersB
But ah the birds the birds Who shall build bowersB
To keep these thine O friend the birds have flownA
-
For as these come and go and quit our pineC
To follow the sweet season or new comersB
Sing one song only from our alder treesD
-
My heart has thoughts which though thine eyes hold mineC
Flit to the silent world and other summersB
With wings that dip beyond the silver seasD
