A Dead Harvest [in Kensington Gardens] Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBB CCDDD EEFFF

Along the graceless grass of townA
They rake the rows of red and brownA
Dead leaves unlike the rows of hayB
Delicate neither gold nor greyB
Raked long ago and far awayB
-
A narrow silence in the parkC
Between the lights a narrow darkC
One street rolls on the north and oneD
Muffled upon the south doth runD
Amid the mist the work is doneD
-
A futile crop for it the fireE
Smoulders and for a stack a pyreE
So go the town's lives on the breezeF
Even as the sheddings of the treesF
Bosom nor barn is filled with theseF
