Twilight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGBHIJK

A fat young man plays with a pondA
The wind has caught itself in a treeB
The pale sky seems to be rumpledC
As though it had run out of makeupD
On long crutches bent nearly in halfE
And chatting two cripples creep across the fieldF
A blond poet perhaps goes madG
A little horse stumbles over a ladyB
A fat man is stuck to a windowH
A boy wants to visit a soft womanI
A gray clown puts on his bootsJ
A baby carriage shrieks and dogs curseK
