The Sick Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CDEFGHIJKLAMNO

Evening and grief and lamp lightA
Bury our death faceB
-
We sit at the window and drop out of itC
Far off day still squints at a gray houseD
We scarcely touch our lifeE
And the world is a morphine dreamF
Blinded by clouds the sky sinksG
The garden expires in dark windH
The watchmen enterI
Lift us up into bedJ
Inject us with poisonK
Kill the lampL
Curtains hang in front of the nightA
They disappear gently and slowlyM
Some groan but no one speaksN
Our buried face sleepsO
