The Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADAAA

Sleepy policemen waddle under streetlightsA
Broken beggars grumble when they sense peopleB
On some corners powerful streetcars stutterC
And plush cabs drop into the starsA
Among rough houses whores hobble back and forthD
Sadly swinging their ripe behindsA
Much sky lies broken in these dried out thingsA
Whiny cats painfully shriek bright songsA
